Coffee?! … Coffee!

Let me set the scene …

I just finished shoveling the backyard patio, the side access way, our driveway, and the sidewalk in front of the house.

It was a brisk 11 degrees Fahrenheit (yep, I’m a Canadian but still think in Imperial for temperatures) and I worked up a sweat.

I came back inside, took a quick shower and made myself a cup of coffee. I sat down at my makeshift desk in the dining room (different story for another post), opened my laptop and took a drink of coffee.

Coffee?! … Coffee! Oh my, what a delicious taste, probably one of the best I’ve had recently and it was from none other than Folgers (an unsolicited review). Well done! I just hope it’s not going to be just this batch…

Installing Software

After I drink coffee I like to show the empty mug to the IT guy to tell him that I’ve successfully installed Java. He hates me.

Hazelnut

I have added this flavor to my regular selection of coffees. Although I was not overly impressed with the first cup, this is one of those flavors that grows on you. The only reason I actually tried this blend more than once was due to the fact I really like the flavor of the actual nut.

I usually only pick up a few K-cups of Hazelnut from Timothy’s but that satisfies my palette for this nutty flavor with hints of … something. The something is really the reason I keep drinking it; I’ll sort it out one day.

Caramel Vanilla Nut

Now that reads like an enticing coffee flavor; one you can imagine having just as interesting a taste, too. Today’s flavor is yet another blend by Timothy’s. This coffee reminds me of the rich flavors found inside a chocolate cherry cordial eaten on a warm summer day.

Of course with no cherry or chocolate mentioned in the name, you can imagine the surprise I received with my first taste … and it still tastes the same even after a few more cups as this is another specialty flavor I like to keep in our K-Cup carousel.

German Chocolate Cake

Yes, it is a coffee! This is one of those truly unique and pleasant surprises when tasting specialty coffees. Imagine if you will, the rich flavor of dark chocolate cake iced with caramel-coconut frosting … now imagine drinking that. There you have Timothy’s German Chocolate Cake coffee for the Keurig Brewing System … and my cup of coffee this morning. Although today is not the first time I have enjoyed this delightful brew it is definitely a good day to share it.

Enjoy!

Cinnamon Pastry

Hmmm … just like drinking a lightly-glazed cinnamon roll.

That was my very first thought when I tried the Cinnamon Pastry blend of coffee from Timothy’s for a Keurig single-serve brewer. This is one of my favorite flavors and my recommendation for today. This is especially nice on any morning when you simply want to savor a sweet pastry but are not awake enough to do more than make yourself a coffee.

Enjoy!

Sugar Bush Maple

Today’s coffee flavor … and the first post in a new category on the web site.

In October we purchased a Cuisinart Brewing System and have been very  happy with it; although, every so often it does not brew the drink the first time through its cycle?!

Now, back to the coffee … Sugar Bush Maple! As you would expect the coffee has a maple flavor to it, but let’s not stop there. Imagine, if you will, a mild sweetness reminiscent of brown-sugar based home-made “maple” fudge and now you are enjoying the taste sensation of this “new” blend of coffee from Timothy’s.
